gf hamburger/cheeseburger

Comment: There's no need to deprive yourself of a great hamburger when you can easily prepare one in the comfort of your own home. You'll want to have these often so have a good supply of frozen HomeMade or Commercial gf buns at the ready.
Cooking time:
10 minutes
Serves:
1

Ingredients:
1 frozen GF HomeMade Bun or Commercial bun
4 ozs 80% fat free hamburger beef (fresh or frozen)
1 tsp vegetable oil
1 leaf of iceberg lettuce (or any lettuce that you have handy)
2 slices of tomato
1 slice white American cheese (if you want a cheeseburger)
Salt & pepper to taste
Preparation:
Defrost your bun 1-2 minutes in the micro. If you are using fresh ground beef, scoop off 1/4 pound, shape it round and put it in an 8" fry pan with a 1 tsp of vegetable oil. Fry over medium heat to your preferred degree of doneness and just before reaching that point, if you want a cheeseburger, add a slice of American cheese and melt. Add lettuce and tomatoes and Condiments. (If you are using frozen hamburger patties, thaw and fry as above.)
Condiments: Mayo, Hot Sauce, Mustard, Sliced Onions
Sides: Baked Beans, Potato Salad, Green Salad, French Fries, Chips, Pickles
